Description
Neutrons have unique capabilities of improving the understanding solid-state researchers have of their materials. Especially the ability to distinguish and probe elements that pose difficulties for X-ray experiments make them attractive for the industrial research within BASF. Here we can typically can resort to larger sample amounts which do offer advantages for most neutron experiments. Current topics in research and development within BASF will be covered and the outlook described.
