The Data Evaluation Group is pleased to announce a 1-day SANS workshop on 3rd November with support of MLZ instrument scientists. This workshop will consist on few lectures on SANS scattering theory as well as a short demonstration of QtiSAS software, developed internally at MLZ, as well as the Grasp software, developed at ILL for reduction and analysis of SANS and SAXS data. The main goal is to help participants understand the method, prepare accordingly for experiments at MLZ, and obtain a basic awareness of the software and involved data analysis steps. The participants will also get an opportunity to provide feedback to the software providers for further development.
The workshop will be held in Garching at the Glaspalast and is limited to 15 participants on a first come, first served basis. Participants are expected to bring their own laptops. We recommend that participants download the following softwares on it beforehand:
