A hands-on workshop on Takin,

We present a novel version of the triple-axis software suite Takin (doi: 10.1016/j.softx.2023.101471) featuring a magnon calculation module. The new module, which is based on the same theory as SpinW (doi: 10.1088/0953-8984/27/16/166002), is fully integrated into the software. Apart from directly calculating spin-wave dispersions and spin-spin correlation functions, it can be used for instrumental resolution convolution simulations and fits.
