On Wednesday afternoon (July 8th), we will travel together from Fürstenried Palace to the Kunsthalle der Hypo-Kulturstiftung (known as the Kunsthalle München), one of Germany's most renowned exhibition venues, where we will be given a guided tour of the 'Haar macht Lust' exhibition.
Through this exhibition, visitors can look forward to a fascinating, sensory and surprising journey of discovery through three millennia of the art and cultural history of hair. Around 200 exhibits, spanning from antiquity to the present day, highlight the special significance and expressive power inherent in what appears to be an everyday element.
After the tour, there will be an opportunity to stroll through the centre of Munich before dinner.
At 6:30 pm, we will meet at the 'Augustiner Stammhaus' (Neuhauser Straße 27, 80331 Munich), a typical Bavarian restaurant, for the conference dinner.
Afterwards, a bus will take us back to Fürstenried Palace.
