DESCRIPTION:The Joint Annual Report of the Heinz Maier-Leibnitz Zentrum (M
 LZ) and FRM II presents selected research performed at our institute. We w
 ant to illustrate the great variety and excellence of experiments and deve
 lopments.\nTherefore\, we call for contributions on scientific results as 
 well as major instrumental or methodical developments achieved at the MLZ 
 or a collaborating facility and published in 2025. Among all accepted scie
 ntific reports\, the editors will choose a few scientific highlights to be
  presented in an easy-to-understand executive summary.\nThe report address
 es mainly scientists\; however\, an effort should be made to explain the r
 esults obtained to a non-expert. The emphasis of the annual report 2025 wi
