DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Marcello Demitri (TUM)\n\nThis seminar talk is divid
ed in three parts: \nin the first part there will be an introduction on s
ome theoretical aspects important for the study of soft matter via neutron
scattering: among others\, the scattering vector\, scattering length dens
ity\, form factors\, structure factors\, and correlation functions will
be discussed. \nIn the second part\, after briefly placing SANS within th
e broader family of neutron scattering techniques\, the focus will be on i
ts basic principles\, experimental setup\, and relevance for probing nanos
cale structures.\nIn the last part the paper "Effects of Polymer Block Len
gth Asymmetry and Temperature on the Nanoscale Morphology of Thermorespons
ive Double Hydrophilic Block Copolymers in Aqueous Solutions" will be disc
ussed\, focusing on the aim of the study\, the SANS-based analysis and the
theoretical tools used to interpret the results\, building on the concept
s introduced in the first two parts of the seminar talk.\n\nhttps://indico
