From the airport
Take the S1 or S8 to Marienplatz, change to U3 in the direction of Fürstenried West to the last stop Fürstenried West, then take the bus 56 in the direction of Schloss Blutenburg to the Bellinzonastraße stop or the bus 166 to Tischlerstraße, on Forst-Kasten-Allee to the Retreat House.
From the main railway station
One can take any of suburban (S-Bahn) trains in the direction Ostbahnhof to Marienplatz. Change to the U3 in the direction of Fürstenried West until the last stop Fürstenried West, then take the bus 56 direction Schloss Blutenburg to bus stop Bellinzonastraße or you can also take the bus 166 to Tischlerstraße, on Forst-Kasten-Allee to the Retreat House.
Construction works on the U3 underground line: Due to renovation work at the Goetheplatz and Poccistraße stations, the U3 and U6 lines are not operating between Sendlinger Tor and Implerstraße. A robust replacement bus service has been implemented in the affected area. Please follow the instructions at the subway stations. Motorway A95 Munich-Garmisch, exit no. 3 Fürstenried West, access via Neurieder Straße, Graubündener Straße, turn right into Forst-Kasten-Allee to the Retreat House.
