After the concept for the ODIN imaging instrument has been endorsed by the ESS Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) just before NeuWave-5 held at ESS in Lund, Sweden, ODIN was also approved by the ESS Steering Committee (STC)and consequently the project was moved into the construction phase 1 according to ESS policy.
