The ECNS itself takes place at the Technical University of Munich at Garching. Garching is located in the north of Munich near Munich Airport (MUC) and easy accessible by public transport.

Coming from Munich Central Station
Coming from Munich Airport, there are two possibilities:
Take the exit "Garching Nord" and follow the signs towards "Hochschul- und Forschungszentrum/TUM"
At the traffic light drive straight ahead and follow the road
Please note: Parking places are very limited.
Arriving at Munich Central Station ("Hauptbahnhof"), take any suburban train ("S-Bahn") towards "Ostbahnhof" and get off the train at the 2nd stop "Marienplatz".
Take the Underground train ("U-Bahn") line 6 towards "Garching-Forschungszentrum" and leave at terminus.
Please note: Be sure to take a train with this destination on it, because there are relief trains only to "Fröttmaning" or "Münchner Freiheit"!
You take the suburban train (= "S-Bahn") no. 1 to the stop "Neufahrn" and change there for the bus no. 690 to "Garching-Forschungszentrum". Leave the bus at terminus.
You take the suburban train (= "S-Bahn") no. 8 to the stop "Ismaning" and change there for the bus no. 230 to "Garching-Forschungszentrum". Leave the bus at terminus.
