Seven plenary talks will present highlights of European neutron scattering research. We are happy to announce the following confirmed speakers:
- Elizabeth Blackburn of Lund University (Sweden), will look into vortices in unconventional superconductors
- Livia Bove of CNRS (France) and EPFL (Switzerland) will explore new structures and exotic properties of planetary ices with neutrons
- Tobias Jenke of ILL (France), will show how ultracold neutrons can be used as powerful probes in particle physics and cosmology
- Valeria Rondelli of the University of Milan (Italy) will ask how neutrons can disclose the unknown deep inside biomembranes
- Andrea Scotti of RWTH Aachen (Germany) will present the role of neutrons to determine the softness of microgels
- Markus Strobl of PSI (Switzerland) will explain the advances in neutron imaging
- Chris Stock of Universtíty of Edinburgh (United Kingdom) will discuss spin-orbit excitons in transition metal oxides
