German Conference for Research with Synchrotron Radiation, Neutrons and Ion Beams at Large Facilities

The conference (talks as well as posters and the public lecture) takes place at

This is located opposite of the MLZ, in between you will find the underground station (U6) as well as the GALILEO, a hotel and conference centre.

Take the motorway A9, and leave at Exit 70 “Garching Nord”.	Go downstairs to the basement of the central station where the suburban train  (= "S-Bahn" ) operates. Take one of them to "Marienplatz" (two stops). There you can change to the underground line U6 with the destination "Garching-Forschungszentrum". Please note: Be sure to take a train with this destination on it, because there are relief trains only to "Fröttmaning" or "Münchner Freiheit"!	There are two possibilities. You take the suburban train  (= "S-Bahn") no. 1 to the stop "Neufahrn" and change there for the bus no. 690 to "Garching-Forschungszentrum". Leave the bus at the terminal stop. You take the  suburban train  (= "S-Bahn") no. 8 to the stop "Ismaning" and change there for the bus no. 230 to "Garching-Forschungszentrum". Leave the bus at the terminal stop.
